Almond Toffee Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0 (325u0b0 for glass dish).
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in margarine until crumbly.
  3. Press firmly on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and extract.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stir in toffee pieces and almonds. Spread evenly over prepared crust.
  7. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool.
  9. Cut into bars.
  10. Store covered in refrigerator.
