Grilled or Broiled Asian Flank Steak

  1. Trim fat from steak.
  2. Combine steak and remaining ingredients in a large Zip-Loc bag.
  3. Seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
  4. Spray grill or broiler with non-stick coating.
  5. Remove steak from bag, and discard marinade.
  6. Place steak on grill rack or broiler pan.
  7. Cook 8 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of doneness.
  8. Let steak sit 5 minutes or longer, then cut diagonally across grain into thin slices.
