Microwaved Kabocha Squash with Mayonnaise

  1. Slice the kabocha into 5-6 mm slices.
  2. Place them radially in a heatproof dish with lid.
  3. Cut ham into 7 or 8 mm x 2 cm squares.
  4. Cover the kabocha with ham squares, then squeeze mayonnaise on top.
  5. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and microwave for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Good for relish, too.
