Spicy Steak Tacos

  1. Place sliced steak into a large bowl and sprinkle evenly with the chili powder, cumin, coriander, and salt.
  2. Add the garlic and jalapenos and toss to mix it all together.
  3. Heat two teaspoons oil in a large skillet over high heat until hot.
  4. Add half of the steak and cook, turning once, until browned.
  5. Its about one minute per side.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and repeat with remaining steak and oil.
  7. Then chop/cut steak into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Off heat, add the tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, and lime juice to the skillet.
  9. Be sure to scrape up all of the brown bits.
  10. Place skillet back onto heat and cook tomato mixture on medium heat until reduced, 8 minutes or so.
  11. Return steak to the skillet and cook until meat is no longer pink.
  12. Divide among tortillas.
  13. Serve with cheese, lettuce and sour cream.
