Homemade Pancakes Recipe
- 1 egg
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. shortening, melted or possibly vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- Beat egg with hand beater till fluffy; beat in remaining ingredients.
- Pour batter onto warm griddle.
- Turn pancake over as soon as bubbles form.
- Makes 12 to 16 pancakes.
- Preparation time: 5 min.
