Grandmas Sloppy Joes
- 2 pounds Ground Chuck
- 1 whole Onion, finely chopped
- 1 whole Green Pepper, Medium Chop
- 2 stalks Celery, Medium Chop, Including Leaves
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 8 ounces, fluid Can Tomato Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 8 whole Hamburger Buns
- Brown meat with chopped onion; drain.
- Add green peppers, celery and leaves; cook until soft.
- Add ketchup, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar and Worcestershire sauce; stir well to combine.
- Simmer 1520 minutes before serving.
- Note: To save on time and money, omit the green pepper and onion and use half of small bag of a frozen pepper and onion stir fry blend.
