Stuffed Peppers And Spaghetti
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 c. soft bread cubes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. onion, diced
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. each basil and oregano
- 24 oz. tomato sauce
- spaghetti
- 4 green bell peppers
- Mix first 9 ingredients and let stand for 3 minutes.
- Saute onions in oil, add 1/2 of the onions to meat mixture, add the other 1/2 of the onions and seasoning in the tomato sauce.
- Simmer halved peppers (seeded) in sauce, covered for 45 minutes.
- Stuff peppers with meat mixture and cover with tomato sauce.
- Bake uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Serve with spaghetti.
