Busy Day Lasagna
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (32 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 8 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 1/2 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Brown ground meat and drain.
- Combine spaghetti sauce with water.
- Beat egg lightly.
- Combine with cottage cheese.
- In large, oblong, glass dish, alternate layers of sauce, uncooked noodles, cottage cheese mixture and cheese slices, forming 2 complete layers and topping with sauce.
- Cover with plastic wrap and heat on High for 8 minutes.
- Then set power level on 50 percent and cook 25 to 30 minutes or until tender, turning bowl after 15 minutes.
- Top with Parmesan cheese and let stand, covered, 15 minutes before serving.
- Serves 4 to 6.
