Pasta Del Mar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onions medium, chopped
- 1/2 pound uncook medium shrimp, peel and devein
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon
- 1 jar ragu pasta sauce 1 lb. 8 oz., Old World Style(R) OR Ragu(R) Light Pasta Sauce
- crushed red pepper flakes crushed, to taste
- 6 ounces crabmeat 1 can, drained and flaked
- 8 ounces vermicelli or spaghetti, cooked and drained
- In 3-quart saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in shrimp, garlic, parsley and lemon peel. Cook, stirring frequently, 1 minute or until shrimp almost turn pink. Stir in Pasta Sauce and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Stir in crabmeat and heat through. To serve, spoon sauce over hot vermicelli.
