Garlic And Herb Roasted Chickpeas
- 1 ounce garbanzo beans 14 oz. per can
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt scant
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drain garbanzo beans into a fine-meshed sieve and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Turn garbanzo beans onto a clean dishcloth and pat dry with paper towels.
- Transfer garbanzo beans to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss with a rubber spatula until garbanzo beans are evenly coated in oil and seasonings.
- Arrange garbanzo beans on prepared baking sheet.
- Roast, shaking pan twice during cooking time, until garbanzo beans are golden-brown and crisp, 35-40 minutes.
- Check to see that garbanzo beans are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Transfer garbanzo beans to a bowl and serve immediately.
