Garlic And Herb Roasted Chickpeas

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Drain garbanzo beans into a fine-meshed sieve and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Turn garbanzo beans onto a clean dishcloth and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Transfer garbanzo beans to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss with a rubber spatula until garbanzo beans are evenly coated in oil and seasonings.
  5. Arrange garbanzo beans on prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast, shaking pan twice during cooking time, until garbanzo beans are golden-brown and crisp, 35-40 minutes.
  7. Check to see that garbanzo beans are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
  8. Transfer garbanzo beans to a bowl and serve immediately.
