Revised Cole Slaw
- savory I am guessing the proportions because I just throw this together. Balance your taste between, sweet, and sour with these ingredients
- 1/2 shredded cabbage
- 3 shredded carrots
- 1 olive oil third cup of Kraft, based mayo
- 1 mustard sauce
- 4 tablespoons pineapple juice fresh
- 1 raisins third cup
- 1 chopped walnuts third cup of, or pecans
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 honey quarter cup of, or agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 apple cider vinegar quarter cup of unfiltered raw
- Mix the sauce first, balance ingredients between sweet, savory, and sour.
- Cabbage and carrots should not be shredded too fine.
- Cabbage and pineapple add vitamin C. Carrots add vitamin A. Pineapple adds bromelain, an enzyme helping digestion. Walnuts add protein and good omega 3 oils, Vinegar adds probiotics and other ingredients good for you. Olive oil may adds this beneficial oil. Raisins add iron. Beneficial fiber is good for you, so try it and stay healthy!
