Asparagus Parmigiano

  1. Drain cooked asparagus and arrange in a shallow baking dish. Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden.
  2. Add salt, hot pepper sauce and tomatoes.
  3. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  4. Add thyme and tomato sauce; simmer 20 minutes longer.
  5. Pour sauce over asparagus.
  6. Place slices of Mozzarella cheese over top.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  10. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
