Cheddar Broccoli Soup
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 celery ribs chopped, about 1/2 cup
- 1 carrots chopped, about 1/2 cup
- 1 onions small, chopped, about 1/2 cup
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed, optional
- 29 ounces chicken broth 2 cans
- 1 pound ragu sauce 1 jar, Ragu(R) Cheesy Double Cheddar
- 10 ounces frozen broccoli 1 package, chopped, thawed and drained
- In 3-quart saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook celery, carrot, onion and thyme 3 minutes or until vegetables are almost tender. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes.
- In food processor or blender, puree vegetable mixture until smooth; return to saucepan. Stir in Double Cheddar Sauce and broccoli. Cook 10 minutes or until heated through.
