Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole
- 30 ounces hash brown potatoes frozen shredded
- 1 box turkey sausage links Jimmy Dean
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup red bell pepper chopped
- 2 cups jack cheese shredded cheddar
- 30 ounces egg beaters
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- Brown sausage in skillet.
- Spray stoneware with butter or cooking spray.
- Layer half of the first five ingredients in stoneware and repeat.
- Whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl and then pour over the top.
- Cover and cook 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours on LOW or 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours on HIGH or until thermometer reads 160 degrees.
- Sprinkle casserole with green onions. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
