Pasta Jambalaya
- 1/2 pound sweet italian sausag links, cut into
- 2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onions medium, chopped
- 1 clove garlic finely chopped
- 1 jar ragu pasta sauce 1 lb. 8 oz., Old World Style(R), OR Ragu(R) Light Pasta Sauce
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon red vinegar white white, wine,
- 1/2 teaspoon dri thyme leaves, crush
- cayenne pepper to taste
- 16 ounces linguine 1 box, or spaghetti, cooked and drained
- In 3-quart saucepan, brown sausage, over medium-high heat. Stir in green peppers, onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in Pasta Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, thyme and pepper. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Serve over hot linguine.
