Peanut Butter Cookies
- 7 tablespoons butter softened
- 7 7/16 tablespoons peanut butter smooth or crunchy, this is according to your taste!
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 5/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 7 5/8 tablespoons chocolate chunks dark
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, mix the butter and the peanut butter with an electric mixer until the mixture is creamy.
- Stir in the egg and the brown sugar with a spatula.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and baking soda.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter / egg mixture. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Mix the chocolate chunks to the dough.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Form balls of dough about the size of a walnut. Place them on baking sheet, flattening them a bit and making sure to leave enough space between them.
- Bake for about 10 minutes.
- Once out from the oven, place the cookies on a wire rack to cool.
