Herb Parmesan Bread

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add sugar, salt, butter, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese,
  3. onion
  4. flakes, oregano and 3 cups of flour. Beat until blendedtnd
  5. smooth, about 2 minutes.
  6. Add rest of flour or enough
  7. to make a stiff dough.
  8. Knead, adding flour until smooth and not
  9. sticky.
  10. Let
  11. rise in a warm place 45 minutes or until
  12. doubled
  13. intulk.
  14. Punch
  15. down dough and knead a few minutes.
  16. Lightly
  17. grease one 2 quart casserole or 2 loaf pans. Turn
  18. intotontainers,
  19. butter
  20. top lightly and sprinkle with 1 tablespoontarmesan
  21. cheese.
  22. Let rise again and bake in a
  23. 375u0b0 oven
  24. preheated
  25. for
  26. 50
  27. minutes
  28. (large casserole) or 30 to 40 minutes
  29. (2
  30. loaf
  31. pans)
  32. until nicely browned.
  33. Cool on wire racks.
  34. Serve warm.
