Healthy Citrusy Garlic Salmon Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F degrees
  2. Put all ingredients except the fish in a small bowl and melt in the microwave or hob on low heat for 30 seconds until butter is melted. Stir to combine all ingredients
  3. Prepare a tray lined with baking sheet and place the salmon fillets, skin side up
  4. With a brush, coat the fish with the mixture, then pour evenly all over the fillets
  5. Bake on the top or second to top rack for approximately 10 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flakes with a fork, depending on the thickness of your fillets or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. ou can grill the salmon fillets on a medium to high setting on the second from the top rack for around 8 minutes, or until cooked through, taking care not to dry out the salmon, ideally you grill only thin fillets so they cook quickly and do not dry out. You have to baste (brush or pour) with the butter mixture so the salmon meat does not dry out. This will give you a crunchier crust.
