Cornish Hen And Rice Bake

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Using kitchen shears or sharp knife, cut hens in half lengthwise through breast-bone.
  3. In 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish, combine rice mix, onion, celery and mushrooms.
  4. Heat water and dissolve bouillon; stir into rice mixture.
  5. Dot with margarine.
  6. Place game hens cut side down over rice.
  7. Brush with 1 tablespoon honey; lightly sprinkle with salt.
  8. Cover with foil and bake at 375u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  9. Uncover; brush hens with remaining honey.
  10. Bake uncovered 30 minutes longer or until tender and brown.
