Belgian-Style Breakfast Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Slice the bread 1" thick but do not cut all the way through the bottom of the loaf.
  2. For savory breads; mix together the butter, garlic, Fines Herbs, salt, and pepper well. Spread approximately 1 to 2 tsp of the garlic mixture in between each cut.
  3. If you want to stay away from those savory flavors completely, butter between each cut.
  4. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake about 10 minutes.
