Shrimp De Jonghe
- 7 to 8 c. cleaned shrimp (approximately 4 lb. in shell)
- 1 c. melted butter
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 c. chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- dash of cayenne
- 2/3 c. cooking sherry
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- Bring
- enough
- water
- to cover shrimp to a boil in large pot. Add
- shrimp (in shell) to boiling water.
- Bring to boil a second time and boil approximately 5 minutes until shrimp turns pink. Drain.
- Shell
- andtemovetein.
- To melted butter, add garlic, parsley,
- paprika,tayenne
- and
- cooking sherry.
- Mix well.
- Add bread crumbs; toss lightly.
- Place shrimp in 11 x 7 x
- 1
- 1/2-inch baking dish.
- Spoon the butter and crumb mixture over shrimp. Bake

- 20
- minutes.
- Yield:
- 6 to 8 servings.
