Chocolate Walnut Brownies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 1/4 ounces chocolate cooking
- 4 eggs separate yolks and whites
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 6 3/8 tablespoons walnuts chopped
- 5 1/2 tablespoons hazelnuts chopped
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Melt the butter and the chocolate in the microwave and mix.
- In another bowl, mix the egg yolks and the sugar and then add the flour.
- Once it is smooth, add the chocolate mixture.
- Separately, beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the previous mixture to the egg whites, being careful to keep the mixture light and fluffy. Add the chopped nuts.
- Grease a baking pan and add flour to keep the brownies from sticking.
- Pour the batter onto the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Introduce a toothpick into the brownies and if it comes out clean, the brownies are ready.
