Stuffed Peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 ounces cream cheese soft
- 1/2 bag cheese mexican, nacho, pepperjack, cheddar or your choice
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 4 peppers red, yellow, or orange
- 1 yellow onion
- 2 teaspoons oil
- Heat oil in frying pan. Once hot, saute onions. Add ground beef and brown. Cut the peppers in half and remove seeds and stem. Set aside.nnPreheat oven to 390 degrees.
- Once browned, drain excess liquid, add the cream cheese first. Once dissolved, add in cheese, chili powder, garlic, salt, 1/2 cup bread crumbs.
- Scoop beef mixture into pepper halves. Coat top with bread crumbs and place on baking sheet.
- Once all peppers are on baking sheet, bake for 40 minutes.
