Hamburger Florentine Soup

  1. Brown ground beef in 5-quart saucepan or Dutch oven.
  2. Drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients, except spinach.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat.
  5. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Add frozen spinach.
  7. Cover and simmer an additional 25 minutes.
  8. Stir to blend spinach into soup.
  9. Remove bay leaf.
  10. Yields 11 (1 1/3 cup) servings.
