Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream Pie

  1. Grease a 9 inch round spring-form tin with butter.
  2. Add the Oreos (cream and all) to a food processor and whiz until the biscuits become fine crumbs. Then add your melted butter and whiz again.
  3. Give the mixture a good stir with a spatula and then dump into your prepared tin. Carefully press the biscuits into the bottom and side of your pan as evenly as you can. Use your hands and the back of a spoon to get a nice smooth finish. Once your are done, pop the base into the fridge.
  4. Pour the condensed milk into a large mixing bowl. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave. Whisk together the condensed milk, melted dark chocolate, cocoa powder and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  6. Crush 10 Oreos, cream and all, and gently fold into the chocolate ice cream mixture. Pour the chocolate ice cream over the Oreo base, then cover with plastic wrap and pop into the freezer overnight.
  7. Remove the ice cream pie from the freezer. In a small bowl, fold the cocoa powder and icing sugar into the cream.
  8. Use a piping bag to pipe chocolate cream swirls around the edges.
  9. Add additional whipped cream and Oreo crumble if desired. Cut and serve!
