Microwave Quiche

  1. Remove pastry from foil to glass pie dish.
  2. Microwave at High 1/2 to 1 minute until softened.
  3. With fingers, press firmly in pie plate.
  4. Brush inside with Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Prick pastry. Place pie plate in the oven on trivet or inverted saucer. Microwave at High, 3 to 4 minutes, rotating plate 1/2 turn after minutes.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and bacon over bottom of pie shell.
  7. With fork, beat together eggs, cream and hot pepper sauce.
  8. Pour over cheese in pie shell.
  9. Microwave at Medium-high, 11 to 13 minutes, rotating pie 1/2 turn after 6 minutes.
  10. Let stand about 5 minutes to firm slightly before serving.
  11. Makes about 6 servings.
