Easy Baked Collard Chips
- 1 bunch collard greens
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 pinches salt for greens
- salt to taste
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0F.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove stems from collard greens and cut leaves into 1.5-inch pieces. Place approximately 4 cups of leaves in bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over leaves and toss to coat. Arrange leaves in an even layer on baking sheet, spreading them out as much as possible. Salt leaves.
- Pro tip: Avoid letting leaves overlap to optimize for crispy chips! If they do not fit onto a single baking sheet, try dividing leaves between two sheets.
- Bake collard chips on middle rack of oven for 11-15 minutes, until browned and crispy. Keep a close eye toward end of cooking to avoid burning.
- Check to see that collard chips are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Season collard chips liberally with salt. Serve immediately.
