Evelyn'S Vegetable-Oat Patties

  1. Place all ingredients except oatmeal in blender and blend well. Pour into bowl and add 1 to 1 1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal; mix well. Add a little at a time until mixture is thick.
  2. Let stand until liquid is absorbed and mixture holds together.
  3. (May be mixed in evening and refrigerated overnight.)
  4. Spray frypan with Pam; form mixture into patties, being sure they aren't too thick.
  5. Brown on both sides.
  6. May be used for "burgers" or as patties with gravy as entree.
  7. These freeze well.
