Chicken Divan

  1. Boil chicken and bone; save broth.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
  3. Blend in flour.
  4. Cook over low heat; stir until smooth and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in broth; heat to boiling.
  7. Stir constantly and boil for 1 minute.
  8. Remove from heat. Stir in wine and nutmeg; add cream and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Place layers of noodles, broccoli and chicken in ungreased baking dish. Pour sauce over layers.
  10. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  11. Broil in oven until golden.
  12. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
