Rice & Beef Bacon Stir-Fry
- 2 cups jasmine rice long-grain
- vegetable stock canned or make your own
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 handful frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 red pepper seeded and cut into bite-size or slices
- 3 bacon slices beef
- 1/2 onion sliced
- Place rice in medium pot and pour in vegetable stock, cover to boil and leave it to simmer until rice is tender.
- Heat oil into deep pan/ wok on medium fire. Add onion and fry for few minutes, then add both bacon and red pepper. Fry for 5-7 minutes until bacon turns brownish-red.
- Stir in cooked rice and peas, cook and stir occasionally for another 3-5 minutes until peas are tender.
- Add 1 tablespoon of Worchestershire sauce and serve.
- Note: For more taste, season with salt and pepper or light soy sauce.
