- 11/16 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 onion
- 4 3/8 ounces bacon
- 1 5/8 cups pumpkin
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 4 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 glass milk
- pepper
- salt
- parsely
- cream
- Fry the onion and bacon in a large saucepan until the onion becomes soft, 3 to 4 mins
- Add the cut-up pumpkin and fry all together for another 4 mins
- Boil a liter of water and add it to the pumpkin in the saucepan Add the stock cube, some pepper and salt to taste (not too much as the bacon already contains plenty of salt) and let it simmer on medium heat for another 20 mins
- Finally take the saucepan of the stove top an blend the soup until it becomes puree soup
- Add the milk to soften the taste and serve immediately with a little bit of cream and parsley on top and some bread on the side. Enjoy!
