Pork Chops & Platanos

  1. Put seasoned pork chops in a baking pan, add 1 tbsp vegetable oil and a bit of water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour, uncover and bake for 1/2 hour more or until pork chops look golden brown and fried like.
  2. In a frying pan pour vegetable oil half way. Peal plantains (platanos) cut circle size pieces, add five pieces in the frying pan. The oil should be hot enough like when making fries. Fry platanos pieces for 3 minutes or so, take out of pan and place them one by one between two paper bags and use a can of beans to press down on the platano then place back in frying pan and fry for 2 more minutes remove, sprinkle with salt and serve with pork chops and salad.
