Welsh Cookies

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt into a large bowl.
  2. Add the margarine and mix using your fingertips.
  3. Add the milk and raisins, and mix using a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead ot several times. Roll it out and cut portions about 1 centimeter each.
  5. Press the portions against the floured surface until they are 1/2 centimeter thick.
  6. Heat a skillet on medium-low heat and cook the cookies until they are golden brown on both sides.
  7. Turn off the stove, let the cookies cool off completely, and serve.
