Mom'S Pork Stew

  1. Heat oil in large sauce pan or Dutch oven. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and brown thoroughly in oil.
  2. Remove pork chops and place on plate.
  3. Saute onions until tender then add garlic and cook a few more minutes.
  4. Make Roux by adding flour and whisk thoroughly until brown.
  5. Add cream of mushroom soup and water then whisk until no lumps remain.
  6. Add kitchen bouquet, vinegar, parsley flakes, and red pepper to taste.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste cover and simmer for two hours or more until meat is tender
  8. Add water as needed if gravy is too thick
  9. Serve over rice and enjoy.
