Cheesy Potato Beef Bake
- 1 lb. ground Beef
- 2 cans (4 oz. each) Mushrooms, Stems & Pieces, drained (opt.)
- 2 pkg. Au gratin Potatoes
- 4 c. Boiling Water
- 1-1/3 c. Milk
- 2 tsp. Butter or Margarine
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar Cheese
- In skillet over medium heat, cook Beef until no longer pink, drained.
- Place in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
- Top with Mushrooms.
- Combine Potatoes and contents of sauce mix packets, Milk, Water, Butter, Salt, Seasoned Salt, and Pepper.
- Pour over beef and mushrooms.
- Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Sprinkle with Cheese; bake uncovered for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- Yield:
- 8 servings.
