Salty Cupcakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 5 5/16 tablespoons ham sliced into small pieces
- 1 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 package yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 1/8 cups quark cheese
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese ground
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons herbs minced, or parsley and basil
- 1 9/16 cups quark cheese
- 7/8 cup cheese Philadelphia
- 1 tablespoon herbs minced, or parsley and basil

- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Heat a skillet with the olive oil at medium flame, then add the onion and ham and stir occasionally until the onion looks transparent.
- Mix the whole-wheat flour with the yeast in a large bowl.
- Mix the egg, Quark cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste in a different bowl. Add the ham, onion, and minced herbs to this bowl, and mix it with the flour to obtain dough.
- Pour the dough into cupcake molds and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool off.
- Mix the Quark cheese, Philadelphia cheese, minced herbs, and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.
- Spread the cream over the cupcakes and serve.
