Kourabiedes With Millet Flour
- 7/8 cup millet flour
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3 1/4 tablespoons sugar
- 9/16 cup butter soft
- 1 teaspoon orange flower water
- 3 drops essence bitter almonds
- powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- In a food processor add butter, sugar (40 g), orange flower water and the almond essence.
- Pulse few times for few seconds each pulse.
- Add the flours with the baking powder and pulse again until combine.
- Make a ball with your dough and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- After the 30 minutes make about 36 little balls and put them again into the fridge for other 30 minutes.
- Cook them at 150u0b0C until slightly golden. You will need about 20 minutes.
- Let it cool 15 minutes then roll them in the powdered sugar.
