Chicken A La King

  1. Cook peas, onion, mushrooms and bell peppers in boiling water in a covered pan 5 minutes; drain; save the liquid!
  2. Blend flour with milk or cream.
  3. Combine vegetable cooking liquid, chicken broth, seasonings, slowly stir in flour mixture.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, cook 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken and cooked vegetables.
  6. Heat thoroughly and serve over rice, toast, biscuits or noodles.
