Linguine With Italian Meat Sauce
- 3/4 pound extra lean ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper medium, thinly sliced
- 1 onions large, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragu(R) Old World Style(R) Pasta Sauce OR Ragu(R) Light Pasta Sauce
- 2/3 cup low sodium beef broth
- 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained
- In 3-quart saucepan, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain. Stir in green pepper, onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in Pasta Sauce and broth. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. To serve, spoon sauce over hot linguine and sprinkle, if desired, with grated Parmesan cheese.
