Easy Ground Turkey Shu Mai
- 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
- 8 shrimp small, peeled, chopped into pieces
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon scallion minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 1/2 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 tablespoon egg
- salt
- wonton wrappers round
- Mix everything together in food processor and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes;
- Put about one tablespoon of filling in each wrapper. Wet the wrapper and gather up the sides and twist, leaving the center open.
- Place lettuce leaves for parchment paper in bamboo steamers. Steam for about 8-10 minutes until done.
- Optional: garnish with sesame seeds or finely minced chives
