Grilled Tennessee Steak

  1. Using a fork, pierce the steak on one side and place it in a large nonreactive pan or dish, such as a ceramic casserole dish.
  2. In a small bowl, add all remaining ingredients together; stir to combine and pour mixture over steak.
  3. Marinate steak in the mixture for 6-8 hours in refrigerator, turning occasionally. Remove the steak from refrigerator and allow it to rest at room temperature for an hour before grilling.
  4. Place the Smart Oven+ Grill Attachment in oven. Select GRILL Mode and preheat Grill to High heat setting.
  5. Season marinated steak with kosher salt and pepper.
  6. Place the room temperature steaks on the preheated Grill. Grill them for 7 minutes on one side; then flip them over. Grill the other side for an additional 7 minutes to obtain a medium doneness level, 140u0b0F.
  7. Use tongs to remove steaks from Grill. Place them on cutting board and let stand at least 10 minutes before slicing.
