Pork Churro
- 3 pounds pork sirloin roast 1- or 2-inch dice
- 16 fluidounces heavy cream
- 2 eggs each
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper fresh ground
- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cayenne
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar granulated
- 1. Sugar mixture-in mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well to combine
- 1. Working in small batches, place pork sirloin in Robot Coupe
- 2. Pulse to grind & add heavy cream as you go to ensure smooth farce meat
- 3. Transfer ground pork in mixing bowl
- 4. Add eggs, baking powder, salt & ground black pepper, with spatula mix well to combine & smooth
- 5. In pastry bag, place pork farce meat
- 6. In 350 degree deep fryer, squeeze pork farce meat directly into fryer
- 7. Cook approximately 7 minutes & drain
- 1. Toss Churro in sugar mixture and serve with honey
