Veal Madeira

  1. Saute floured veal in 1/4 cup melted butter for 5 minutes, browning on both sides.
  2. Remove veal to serving dish and keep warm.
  3. Add 2 Tablespoons butter to skillet and saute onions and mushrooms for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Add wine and continue cooking until liquid is reduced to 2 Tablespoons.
  5. Add whipping cream and seasonings.
  6. Cook until mixture is thickened.
