Goat Cheese Salad
- 6 slices cheese Palhais Chevre, or cured goat cheese
- 3 pork steaks cut in strips
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for steaks
- ground coriander to taste
- 4 lettuce leaves iceberg
- 10 sorrel leaves
- 3 tablespoons almonds
- olive oil to taste
- vinegar to taste
- Place the cheese in the freezer.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter a frying pan, add the steaks, and saute until golden. Before removing from heat, season with ground coriander.
- Shred iceberg lettuce and sorrel lettuce leaves.
- Add the meat and almonds to the lettuce mix, and season with olive olive, fig spray vinegar, and a pinch of salt.
- Remove cheese from freezer, and cut in slices, and add to the salad.
- Drizzle a little olive oil on the salad, and grind some pepper on top.
