Apple Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Peel and core the apples. Cut them into quarters, and slice each section, without separating completely. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius..
  4. Beat the egg, egg yolks, and sugar for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add the margarine and Port wine, and mix on a higher speed for a few seconds.
  6. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix for a few seconds. The dough gets quite thick.
  7. Pour into a round cake pan greased with butter and sprinkled with flour.
  8. Uniformly distribute the apples on top of the dough. Slightly press down the apples, without sinking them into the dough.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes. Check the cooking with a toothpick, remove, unmold, and let cool.
  10. Once cooled, sprinkle abundantly with powdered sugar.
