Ham Balls
- 1 lb. ground ham
- 1 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. white bread (no crust)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. water
- Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
- Break up bread into small pieces; let bread dry out slightly.
- Add bread to milk mixture. Add raw meat and mix thoroughly.
- Form small balls.
- Cook vinegar, brown sugar, dry mustard, water and salt and pepper until melted and blended together.
- Pour over balls which have been placed in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until lightly browned; turn occasionally.
- Save sauce; reheat in serving dish.
- Serve with long toothpicks.
