Pizza
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. hot water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 1/2 c. flour (approximately)
- 6 oz. pepperoni stick
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed
- 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- Soften yeast in warm water for 5 minutes.
- In mixing bowl, pour hot water over salt and margarine; cool to lukewarm and add yeast.
- Stir.
- Add flour, mixing until smooth.
- Knead 12 strokes; divide and press out on two 12-inch pizza pans.
- (A small amount of oil on the pan helps.)
- Run pepperoni through food processor until very fine; mix with garlic, tomato paste, tomato sauce and oregano.
- Spread sauce on pizza dough, dividing evenly.
- Add any toppings you like, then cover with grated cheese.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for 20 minutes.
