Spaghetti Pie
- 6 oz. pkg. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Cook spaghetti and drain.
- Stir margarine into hot spaghetti. Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.
- Form spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in buttered 10-inch pie plate.
- Spread cottage cheese on top of spaghetti crust.
- Cook ground beef until brown; drain.
- Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic; heat through.
- Pour meat mixture into crust.
- Bake, uncovered, in 350u0b0 oven for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake 5 minutes longer.
- Makes 6 servings.
