Ndecent Chocolate Cake
- 1 1/8 cups pastry flour sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces chocolate
- 1 cup butter at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 large eggs
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the flour together with the baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave and set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar together and then add the eggs, one by one, mixing constantly. Mix in the melted chocolate.
- Add the dry mixture and the boiling water to the chocolate mixture, alternately in thirds. Mix well.
- Line a baking pan with greased parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes. Lower the temperature to 160 C and bake for 15 minutes more or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan before cutting to serve.
