Sour Cream Apple Spice Cake
- 1 pkg. Streusel Swirl Dutch apple cake mix (Pillsbury)
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/3 c. oil
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. raisins, if desired
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Lightly grease and flour 10-inch tube or streusel cake pan.
- In large bowl, blend cake mix and remaining cake ingredients except raisins at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed; stir in raisins.
- Pour 2/3 of batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle 2/3 cup streusel mix evenly over batter in pan.
- Spread with remaining batter; top with remaining streusel mix.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool upright in pan on wire rack 30 minutes; remove from pan.
- Cool on wire rack, streusel side up completely before glazing.
- Blend glaze mix with 2 teaspoons water until smooth and drizzle over cake.
